Dock Mennonite is hosting the “Beyond the Game” shootout on Saturday, with 22 teams from the Philadelphia area coming up to Souderton for a day of hoops. It’s a group that largely features teams from District 1, but there’s a little bit of Public League and Inter-Ac flavor as well.

All teams are playing two games back-to-back, with games running from 9 o’clock until 5 PM.

Participating teams: Central Bucks West, Dobbins Tech, Dock Mennonite, Germantown Academy, Harry S. Truman, Jenkintown, Lower Moreland, Norristown, Owen J. Roberts, Penncrest, Pennridge, Pennsbury, Perkiomen Valley, Radnor, Souderton, Springfield (Montco.), Strath Haven, Upper Dublin, Upper Moreland, West Chester East, West Chester Henderson, Wissahickon

The event will also serve as the third-annual “Next Level Referee Clinic,” run by director Dan Moretski, a local PIAA referee. The clinic, which involves around 40 area officials, will include a night of speakers and on-court presentations on Friday night before the referees work the games on Saturday.
