On The Trail
Holloway is a very intimidating post player that takes up a lot of space in the paint. He has tremendous hands and catches everything thrown in his direction. Holloway can score with either hand around the basket and has good touch up to 15 feet. He has good feel and knows how to play the game. He isn’t the greatest athlete and has a tough time changing ends, but his biggest weakness is going to be keeping his weight under control, which he has done a great job of recently. He might not make an instant impact in college, but down the road Holloway could be a very good player in the AAC, A-10, or CAA.
(August 9): Holloway currently has offers from Massachusetts, Marshall, Temple, La Salle, Drexel, Rider and Delaware; Minnesota is reportedly showing interest.
(June 21, 2013): Rider offered on his unofficial visit.
(June 15, 2013): Holloway added an offer from Seton Hall.
(June 7th, 2013): Told CoBL that he picked up an offer from Fairfield today. He also has a visit scheduled with Rider.
(May 20th, 2013): Told CoBL he holds offers from Temple, Drexel and La Salle; will visit Richmond June 17th.
“Temple, they’re a good school, and I feel like I could put myself there,” he said. “With La Salle, it’s a smaller campus, I go to a smaller school.
“I just want a good environment and to fit in, basketball wise.”
