Scouting Report
Ellison is a very skilled combo guard that likes to play in the open court. He is a very intelligent basketball player that usually makes the right decision. He is very good at using screens to create space and getting room for his jumper. He is still developing a 3-point shot, but he is very dependable at shooting off the dribble. He is still growing into is body, so he will need to continue to lift weights and get stronger. Not knowing how tall he is going to be, its hard to say at what level he will become, but he has good enough skill set to play in the A-10 or CAA right now though his body could have him develop into the next level. He’s still far from a polished product but his upside is what has the high-majors intrigued; having Pervis Ellison as a father and coach doesn’t hurt, either. –December 6, 2013

(Dec. 6, 2013): CoBL spoke to Ellison after he scored 11 points in a 59-47 win over Academy New Church. Currently, his offers are from Temple, Saint Joseph’s, La Salle and Penn State, with interest from Maryland, Syracuse, Miami and Xavier.
