Scouting Report
Papagiannis is a really skilled post player with great hands and feet in the low post. He showed the ability to finish with a variety of post moves on the block and shoot jump hooks with either hand. A good jump shooter, he’s also proven that he can hit a 3-pointer or two when left open, and at his size it’s tough to stop. He runs the floor extremely well and excels in running the pick-and-roll. On the defensive end he is very intimidating, blocking tons of shots grabbed almost every rebound in his area. He will need to continue to work on getting stronger and improve his overall athleticism as he gets closer to college. Papagiannis will be recruited at the highest level and should have a chance to be an NBA player one day. –March 20, 2014

(June 25, 2014): Papagiannis will leave Westtown for the Greek professional league, as he has signed a contract with Panathinaikos. At the time of his departure, he was being recruited by schools like Temple, Penn State, Maryland, Georgetown, Rutgers and more.
